How do you use hot rollers? and how do the curls turn out? please post some pics?

curling irons do not work well with my hair i have a alot of hair and its really thick and heavy so my friend told me to try hot rollers and i was just wondering how do you actually use them and how do the curls turn out, also how long do u leave the rollers in your hair?How do you use hot rollers? and how do the curls turn out? please post some pics?

how to use them:


wash hair, dry with towel as much as possible its ok to leave it damp. put anti frizz and anti heat serum in hair, and shine serum. comb through hair and add rollers. if you want your hair curlier, use thinner rollers and if you want your curls wavier or straghter, use larger ones; larger ones also provide more volume at the roots of your hair. i also suggest velcro rollers. you can also blow dry hair with rollers in it to speed up the curling but leave it in.
